Continue readingWith Mother’s Day coming up this weekend in the US, I thought that I would share a few gift ideas that are unique and thoughtful. So whether or not you are celebrating that wonderful woman in your life, these gifts are sure to delight your loved one and make them feel truly special.
FOR THE SPONGE
150g (2/3 cup) dairy-free spread, plus extra for the tins
300ml dairy-free milk, we used oat milk
1 tbsp cider vinegar
1 tsp vanilla extract
300g (1¾ cups + 2 tbsp) self-raising flour
200g (1 cup) golden caster sugar
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
